Flat Iron

Can anyone give a recommendation for a flat iron? I know there are some really good "professional" ones out there, but I really don't want to spend $100. I am thinking $25-$40.

Give me your thoughts....

I got a good one at Sally's Beauty store last summer for $35 and it has held up GREAT!

I am reading the same book! Mrs. Perfect. It's very hard to put down. I'm a little more than halfway through. What do you think of it?

I have had my Solano Sapphire for seven years. It is amazing and the best investment I EVER made. I have very think, curly hair and this is the only straightner that has ever worked on my hair. They have a variety of models that you can choose from. I have gotten several friends to buy a Sapphire and they too said it changed their life.

Even though it's more expensive, I LOVE my Chi. I've gone through so many "cheaper" straighteners and this one is just awesome. It heats up really quickly and doesn't damage your hair at all! I have straight, fine hair naturally, BUT it has a tendency to flyaway (because it's so fine) and it gets weird bends in it sometimes. This cuts out frizz and straightens perfectly!
